Filled with love for God’s people, Alfred Buckley formed this foundation to help our community overcome challenges. Through the generosity of everyday people, we’ve been able to provide kids with school supplies, computers and scholarships to brighten up their future. We also assist families with needed supplies and support through difficult situations. Partner with us today!
Scholarships
Since 2001, the Alfred Buckley Foundation has been able to award more than $20,000 in scholarships to college students. Our scholarship amounts are based on the scholar’s academics, college selection and degree course. With your help, we would like to touch more scholars and award more scholarships to ensure they have a bright future.
Annual Banquet
Each year an annual banquet will be held as a fundraiser for the foundation. The proceeds raised will go towards the issuing of scholarships, school supplies and computers.
School Supply Giveaways
Every year we supply kids (k-12th grade) with school supplies and booksacks. We always hold our school supply giveaways in different locations in the East Baton Rouge region. In 2019, we were able to hand out school supplies to over 1,000 kids.
